RIVER
Originally designed in 2018 for a private Canadian residence in the heart of Manitoba, overlooking the Red River, the table features an organic, yet symmetrical shape intended to ease circulation around a large seating arrangement. Warm Fior di Bosco marble was selected to complement the hand-knotted silk rug on which it was placed.
The design was later developed for EQ3 and introduced in both marble and solid wood finishes. For the wood versions, a carved-out tray detail was added to unmistakably highlight the material’s solid nature and craftsmanship. A durable PU finish was specified to ensure longevity while maintaining a low sheen, achieving a refined, natural appearance.
While visually simple, the base is fully welded for structural integrity. Round legs are connected by square stretchers, creating a subtle dialogue between soft and architectural forms. The base was produced in both brushed stainless steel and an anthracite powder-coated finish. The legs were intentionally inset, allowing for obstacle-free movement around the table and enhancing overall functionality.
