ORA

Ora was designed in 2020. A bedroom group made of solid Douglas Fir from British Columbia and fully manufactured in the heart of Canada. Douglas Fir is celebrated for its characteristic linear grain, contrasting hard and soft wood fibers. The various frame and surface elements are offset in its assembly.

The top surface therefore has edges containing its elements from two sides. The drawer front is likewise inset, which creates on the one hand, textural depth and texture, while allowing a handle to be carved out into the horizontal stretcher. Given the solid nature of Ora, it is a collection that can outlive generations and age with grace.
