STADIUM

Stadium was designed in 2023. Cane weaving is an ancient technique utilized in various forms of furniture making, dating back 4000 years. Stadium features hand woven Cane as a canvas that provides color and weaving texture and creates awareness to the artisan weaver.

The woven fronts are frames with solid white Oak; the handle is ergonomically carved into the frame. The use of 45-degree miter joints creates a seamless case that is finished from all sides, allowing Stadium to float in space and act as a room divider. The case sits on two solid wood sleds, which slightly elevate the case while achieving a grounded visual appeal.
