FINN

Finn was designed in 2017 and can best be described as a utilitarian product, made to facilitate everyday rituals. A place to rest a coffee in the morning, a casual works space, a movable surface, adjustable in height, ready to carry objects that need a place.

The base slides under sofas, allowing the surface to hover over a seating surface or sofa arm. The surface and base consist of sheet metal. An inset steel rod reinforces the top and doubles as a grip for moving Finn.

The tabletop is mounted to a custom aluminum extrusion featuring a notch that guides the lifting mechanism and prevents rotation. The binder clamp is immediately recognizable, drawing on the familiar and nostalgic reference of classic steel-frame bicycles.
