DIZZY
Dizzy was designed in 2019. It can be described as a simple and honest sidetable, made of solid American Ash and assembled without tools. While at first glance, the construction may be hidden, the assembly process reveals its design and architectural intention. Two cylindrical posts are first tightened into the top surface. The bottom surface is aligned with the posts, and fastened with the legs. The diameter of the cylindrical elements was intentionally dimensioned to allow for grip, and connection lever. Further, when fully assembled, it conceals all hardware.
Dizzy provides a generous overhang, which allows it to glide under a sofa and over a seat. It nests into place to become a good companion for a chaise or armless chair. Or can be used to host plants and objects. The subtle levitating appearance not only elevates Dizzy, but the objects it holds.
